Inward Turn

Ahh... how I enjoy the warmth of the autumn day sandwiched by the cool crisp morning and evening air.  This season simply beckons for a softening, a slowing down and the sipping of a warm beverage, and not it's not a pumpkin spice anything (we'll get to that later)!

Nature is my biggest teacher and most supportive guide.  I can always rely on her divine intuition to influence my daily life.  Following her wisdom I am spending more time considering me and my current needs.  This work is never easy for me, or at least has yet to be.  I find I have a deeply rooted need to be giving, which by the way I absolutely love doing!  But, I also know if I don't take pause and gather my energy and direct it with clear purpose I will eventually fatigue.  I have recently been returning to this poem as I consider my own becoming and continuing the process of  getting to know me.
